About Sunrise:

Sunrise is a specialized Data Availability Layer for Proof of Liquidity (PoL). PoL enables DA Fee Abstraction, allowing users to receive blobspace in exchange for providing liquidity to any PoL pool of their choice on Sunrise. At the L2 level, this deepens liquidity and security for L2s by allowing them to provide liquidity in their own native token.

Why Sunrise?

1. Highly scalable off-chain blob space enables the creation of new fully on-chain use cases such as Decentralized AI, Gaming, and more.
2. L2 rollups built on Sunrise can leverage the network’s native DEX to access shared liquidity, thereby reducing liquidity fragmentation and simultaneously increasing liquidity for their own token.
3. Sunrise introduces Extended Proof of Liquidity, which enables Sunrise to participate in a mutually beneficial relationship with Berachain’s liquidity environment by extending Berachain’s PoL to the L2 level.

About the role:

We’re looking for someone who gets crypto culture and has the track record to prove it. As a Community Manager in Sunrise, you'll be responsible for nurturing and growing the developer and user communities.

You’ll work closely with our Developer Relations team to build meaningful relationships across the ecosystem, support contributors, and create community spaces where people want to show up and get involved. This role sits at the intersection of technology and community engagement, requiring both a technical understanding of the Sunrise tech stack and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Creating memes and content (video, written) that feel native, funny, and aligned with what we’re building.
• Own our Discord and maintain a thriving community that serves as a hub for developers and users.
• Identify relevant external communities for cross-collabs, contests, activations.
• Turn community insights into real feedback that gets shared internally with the rest of the team.
• Being a face of Sunrise, someone our community knows, trusts, and wants to hear from.
• Tracking community metrics and providing regular reports on community health and engagement.
• Identifying and nurturing community champions and advocates.
